Hi, I’m Emi — the proud owner of Pawspalooza, where every walk is an adventure and every dog is treated like family.
I’m originally from Bulgaria, but I’ve called the U.S. home for the past 14 years — 9 - years of those in Illinois, and the last 5 - years right here in sunny California. When I’m not outdoors with dogs, I’m a mom to my amazing 9-year-old daughter (my little mini-me who shares my love for animals, silliness, and adventure!) and our rescue pup, Rue.
Rue came into our life as a shy, fearful puppy — scared of every sound and shadow. After two years of patience, training, and countless walks, she became the confident, loyal, happy dog she is today. That transformation inspired me to start Pawspalooza — to help other dogs find that same joy and confidence through safe, loving, and personalized adventures.
When I’m not walking dogs, I work remotely in the rail industry, and I love spending time outdoors with the people and pups I love the most. Pawspalooza is more than just a dog walking service — it’s a celebration of trust, freedom, and the bond we share with our furry friends.
🧶 The Crochet Museum Adventure 🧶
Every adventure tells a story — and this one’s a little extra special.
On our way through Joshua Tree, we stumbled upon the World Famous Crochet Museum, a tiny, bright-green time capsule of creativity. Of course, I couldn’t resist stopping for a photo with my favorite travel companions — my daughter, our dog Rue, and our curious cat Goshko, who insists on coming along in his backpack for every adventure.
Rue was busy greeting everyone who passed by, tail wagging in pure joy, while Goshko peeked through his bubble backpack like the true explorer he is.
It’s moments like these that make our Pawspalooza adventures so meaningful — just a small family, a couple of furry best friends, and endless memories made under the California sun. ☀️🐾🐱
🐾 Trailside Kisses 🐾
During one of our Pawspalooza hiking adventures, Rue decided to surprise me with her own business idea — an on-the-trail “Kissing Booth.” No setup needed, just enthusiasm, slobber, and a whole lot of love. Let’s just say… she’s the most dedicated employee Pawspalooza has ever had.
At Pawspalooza, we believe every walk should come with moments like this — full of laughter, love, and a little dirt on your shoes. Whether your pup prefers kisses, cuddles, or full-speed sprints through the trees, our walks and hikes are all about fun, freedom, and connection.
